Last night was the 'Pancake Partaaay' at university where me, Sam and Steph cooked 60-odd pancakes between us and only managed to drop one in a flipping frenzy. Actually, I wasn't the one to drop it which is quite suprising considering how clumsy I usually am! Before that we had a Pancake Race, which consisted of a 'track' marked out on the grass (with squirty cream and flour, no less) and a member of each team flipping a pancake and running as fast as possible before passing the frying pan to the next person in a relay-stylee before eventually crossing the finish line (made from rolled-up kitchen towel tied at either end to some bushes!) :o)
Needless to say, we lost when Christian flipped the pancake and it broke into two halves before falling onto the grass. Mmm, soggyness!
The other major event of this week was Martay's 23rd birthday, which we celebrated on Saturday night in the Ben Crouch Tavern and The Metro club. I believe he had a good time (I know the rest of us definitely did) what with dancing to some classic chooons, drinking marginally more than was probably healthy, getting friendly with a group of girls celebrating an 18th birthday and falling into a heap of binbags on the way to the taxi. Bloody marvellous :o) °h°
